CYBRARIAN® Software Upgrades
End of Lifecycle
Every CYBRARIAN® product has a lifecycle. The lifecycle begins when a product is released and ends when it's no longer supported.
What is an End of Lifecycle for software?
“End of Lifecycle” refers to the date when a software product no longer provides the level of performance necessary.
An End of Lifecycle (EOL) for a software application is the final stage of a product's life cycle, when it is no longer supported or updated. This means that the software will not receive any security patches, bug fixes, feature enhancements, or technical assistance.
Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade to a newer version of the software before the EOL date.
CYBRARIAN® Lifecycle Policy
CYBRARIAN® software upgrades and their installation are always free!
CYBRARIAN has a Lifecycle Policy that provides consistent and predictable guidelines for the availability of support throughout the two (2) year life of a product. We recommend planning ahead to upgrade whenever it is most convenient for your organization.
CYBRARIAN® software applications that reach EOL are considered obsolete and may pose security risks, regulatory issues, compatibility problems, or reliability issues for our users.
In addition to new features for both staff and patrons each new release also contains numerous enhancements and features requested by our users.
